The Center has established a compact terahertz spectrometer. It can be customized for inspecting the transmitted or reflective type samples simultaneously.
The quality requirement is greatly higher than before in the fabrication industry such as semiconductors, medical, plastic, foam, etc. Therefore, the low cost, compact, high quality and high speed inspection instrument is much more interested by the industry.
Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy is a non-ionizing, non-contact and non-destruction inspection technique and is very feasible for the new candidate.
We utilize a collimated alignment technique and high customized capability for the terahertz spectroscopy. The featured system size is only 48 cm X 34 cm X 18 cm.
The technique can be applied in security, broadband communication, pharmaceuticals, new material for solar cell industry, art appraisal, Oncology, Dentistry, etc. The technique had implemented in the electricity measurement in flexible display substrate and can be combined with other machine for higher benefit.
