Verisante Enters Licensing Agreement for Multi Spectral Imaging Technology to Detect Skin Cancer and Oral Cancer

(TSX-V:VRS - News)(OTCQX: VRSEF)(PINK SHEETS:VRSEF - News) (the "Company" or "Verisante"), a leader in cancer imaging technology, is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to license the exclusive world-wide rights for a novel rapid multi-spectral imaging cancer detection technology with the inventors, Dr. Haishan Zeng and Dr. Yasser Fawzy of the British Columbia Cancer Agency.
The rapid multi-spectral imaging technology is protected by a pending patent. The Company has the field of use rights to detect skin cancer and oral cancer, and the right of first refusal for all other cancers.
The technology has the potential to become the best in class modality for field imaging for the localization of cancerous lesions in the epithelial layer of tissue in various body sites. Over the past 11 months, Verisante has acquired the rights to a broad portfolio of over 24 patents, and pending patents, for cancer detection, including white light reflectance imaging, fluorescence imaging, rapid Raman spectroscopy, and rapid multi-spectral imaging.

ADVANCED PHOTONIX INVOLVED IN TIMBER QUALITY ANALYSIS

Hopefully, I have linked the television video out of Canada that shows the use of the Del-Tech machine, which incorporates the Advanced Photonix, terahertz system. THIS IS GREAT DEMONSTRATION OF QUALITY CONTROL OF ALL KINDS. THE POTENTIAL APPLICATIONS ARE ENDLESS!

Dr. Matt Reid at the University of Northern British Columbia is using the new kilohertz T-Ray((R)) 4000 to provide cost savings
and process control in the wood processing industry. Dr. Reid describes the T-Ray((R)) 4000 as "the fastest and most robust
pulsed THz system in the world [which] makes tomorrow's real-time industrial THz scanning applications a reality today." His
work is being conducted in conjunction with the College of New Caledonia, the Ministry of Forests and Range, and Del-Tech
Manufacturing. Del-Tech is a primary manufacturer of biomass-fuelled systems that supply thermal energy for lumber kilns, material dryers, board presses, power generation, and plant heating systems. Del-Tech is also a designer of manufacturing machinery for the forest industry.
