Graphene is termed as the wonder material of the 21st century with amazing optical and electrical properties and rapidly capturing interest in Terahertz communication. With the ability to operate at Terahertz region, Graphene-based patch antennas will make Terahertz communication feasible within few years. Graphene-based triangular and circular patch antennas with different substrate shapes have been analyzed and compared. The combination of circular patch and triangular substrate operating at 7.32THz gives the best performance with S11 of −50.78dB, Directivity of 7.899dBi, Gain of 6.338dB and very high Bandwidth of 371GHz. Triangular Graphene patch is analyzed for different materials as underlying substrate. Roger RO 4003C material gives rise to second band operation having ultrawide Bandwidth of 677GHz.
