A hexagonal fractal superwideband antenna operating at terahertz frequencies is presented in this paper. It consists of three iterations of a hexagonal slot loaded hexagonal radiator fed by a microstrip line, defected irregular partial ground plane along with a backed plane rectangular ring resonator. This antenna has an operating bandwidth of 0.2 THz to 11.5 THz for VSWR2. Other frequency domain characteristics like distorted omnidirectional radiation patterns in both E & H planes and peak realized gain of 10.82 dB are observed. HFSS simulator is used for analyzing this antenna geometry.
