TeraMetrix, Luna’s terahertz measurement division, will be attending the Tire Technology Expo this week in Hannover, Germany.
On Tuesday, March 5th at 10:55am our partners at Bridgestone will be presenting how terahertz (THz) measurement and TeraMetrix technology is being used to capture online measurements of critical features such as total ply thickness and cord balance to gain a clear advantage in producing higher quality products while lowering costs.
TeraMetrix’s Senior Research Scientist, Dr. Jeffrey White will also present a review of how online THz measurements can determine overall body ply thickness and balance measurements for fabric cords. The opportunities and advantages of use of THz measurements in other calendaring operations, including metal corded products, will also be discussed. Dr. White’s presentation will be Tuesday, March 5th at 3:35pm.
