The QuiC SLED™ product line covers wavelengths from around 3 µm to 15 µm by tuning the LED fabrication. This technology brings fast-switching lights to the mid-wave infrared (MWIR) and long-wave infrared (LWIR) atmospheric windows, covering the mid-infrared absorption fingerprints of many gasses, liquids, and solids. The emission peak of the first product, at 4.25 µm, overlaps the carbon dioxide line in the MWIR window.
