Waterloo (Ontario) CANADA, January 16, 2013 – TeTechS Inc., a terahertz technology solution company, announced today that the company released it's first set of terahertz photoconductive antenna chips.
TeTechS' T-Era series terahertz photoconductive antenna chips are used to generate and detect electromagnetic waves at the terahertz frequencies for spectroscopy, sensing, and imaging applications. The chips are made on novel semiconductor material systems and are packaged inside patent pending enclosure designs, making the chips superior in performance and easy to use. TeTechS’ T-Era photoconductive antenna chips achieve new levels of low noise performance among terahertz sources and detectors, to achieve superior system dynamic range and discrimination. A terahertz peak power spectrum dynamic range of more than 75 dB with an unprecedented terahertz peak signal of 100 nA can be achieved with T-Era photoconductive antennas.
The T-Era-XXD1550 series are made on high resistive ultra-fast epitaxially grown multi-quantum well InGaAs-InAlAs material system suitable to operate at telecommunication wavelengths. The material system was developed as part of a two-year research collaboration between TeTechS Inc. and the University of Manchester, United Kingdom...... (Read more)
