My Note: I received this unsolicited email yesterday. I'm happy to share it with Blog readers fwiw. I don't know anything about NineSigma, and I don't vouch for the security of any outside link, which I assume, but can't guarantee are secure.

Subject: NineSigma Request - Novel Material/Structure for Wideband THz Photoconductive Antenna
I am contacting you to make you aware of NineSigma Request, RFP# 70146, "Novel Material/Structure for Wideband THz Photoconductive Antenna."
NineSigma, representing a leading engineering manufacturer, is seeking a new material or novel antenna structure for a wideband terahertz photoconductive antenna, applicable at more than 10THz. For new material technologies, it is not mandatory to have tested the material in the physical device, as possible theory or phenomenon of bandwidth enhancement is also welcome. NineSigma has identified you as a party with the potential to respond to this request, or as a contact who might know of someone with expertise in this area.
This invitation is not a complete description of the project. More information is available in the Request for Proposal (RFP) document online at http://www.ninesights.com/docs/DOC-9475 (or click here to go directly to the web page). The final submission date for Proposal Briefs is Monday, February 10, 2014.

If after reviewing the full RFP document you would like more information, you may post questions or comments online at NineSights using the RFP link above. In addition, you may contact me by email and reference RFP# 70146 in the subject line. When you submit a proposal, please use the response template downloaded from the link below:
