Lake Shore to Host Terahertz Materials Characterization Discussion on Google+ Hangout

The THz frequency range has recently emerged as a new frontier for materials science.
Lake Shore and its partners at key research facilities in the U.S. are using THz energy to explore novel material properties under variable or extreme temperatures and magnetic fields.
My Note: Too bad Lake Shore is not a publicaly traded company. The guys at API could learn a thing or two, about ways to promote THz, and about their company from Lakeshore.

Columbus, OH (PRWEB) March 17, 2014
Lake Shore Cryotronics, a leading innovator in solutions for measurement under extreme temperature and magnetic field conditions, announced that it will host a Google+ Hangout to discuss the use of terahertz energy in materials characterization. The live webcast will take place March 20 at 1 p.m. EDT on Google+ and YouTube.
As the main presenter, Lake Shore Application Scientist David Daughton will answer questions about THz materials characterization at cryogenic temperatures and high magnetic fields. Dr. Daughton will also discuss research being done with Lake Shore's own 8500 Series THz system to gain insight into molecular solids, thin films and other materials. Questions may be submitted using the hashtag #askLakeShoreTHz on Twitter or Google+.
The webcast will be viewable on Lake Shore’s Google+ Page and YouTube page,http://www.youtube.com/user/LakeShoreCryo, both during and after the event.
The terahertz frequency range has recently emerged as a new frontier for materials science, helping researchers identify and characterize materials in pursuit of improved performance, higher processing speed, and more compact packaging.
