Optical Terahertz Sensing Session at the 2012 OSA Optical Sensors Topical Meeting

OSA Advancing the Science and Technology of Light



The submission deadline for the 2012 OSA Optical Sensors meeting has been extended. The new deadline is 17:00 GMT (12 pm EST) on March 5th.

Please consider submitting an abstract for consideration for oral or poster presentation to the Optical Terahertz Sensing Session at the 2012 OSA Optical Sensors Topical Meeting.

The meeting will take place from June 24th – 28th, 2012 in Monterey, California and will be co-located with the other following meetings:
Imaging Systems and Applications
Applied Industrial Optics: Spectroscopy, Imaging, and Metrology
Optical Remote Sensing of the Environment
Optical Sensors
Computational Optical Sensing and Imaging
Optical Fabrication and Testing

Topics for the Terahertz Sensing sessions include but are not limited to
- Sources & Detectors
- THz Spectroscopy for Sensing
- THz Imaging
- THz Sensing for Safety and Security Applications
- THz Sensing in Industrial Environments
- THz Components (waveguides, filters, metamaterials, polarizers, etc.)
- Commercial systems
