More on Agilent's use of Bridge12's DNP technology


Agilent Technologies is proud to announce the following products at the 52nd ENC, held at Asilomar, Pacific Grove, CA, on April 10th – 15th, 2011.
The new DD2 Magnetic Resonance Console
The DD2 NMR/MRI console represents a significant enhancement to the product portfolio offering expanded experimental capabilities in a robust and reliable package. Among the array of new console features are increased speed for improved amplitude and resolution.
VnmrJ 3.1 - An Expanded Software Suite for Multiple Applications
VnmrJ 3.1 represents a significant leap forward for customers utilizing existing VNMRS and 400MR NMR systems as well as those purchasing new Agilent DD2 systems. Among its new features are sample-centric workflows and new experimental tools to expand the applications suite and improve productivity. Introducing qNMR: a powerful new quantification toolkit for absolute concentration determination without the need for an internal standard or external reference signal. An improved DOSY application enables more accurate and precise measurement of diffusion coefficients along with multi-exponential fitting for clean separation of overlapped signals. New Hadamard versions of common experiments offer a time-saving of up to an order of magnitude, enabling higher throughput when time is precious.
The OneNMR Probe – expanding the family 
Agilent has expanded its portfolio of OneNMR probes to include automated versions with automated tuning capabilities at 500 and 600MHz. This technology platform enables researchers to utilize a single probe to perform experiments on multiple nuclei measure without switching probes.
Narrow Bore HXFY Probe adds capabilities for solid-state experiments
The new Narrow Bore HFXY Probe utilizes the same T3 technology found in the Wide Bore HXFY MAS Probe, but in a more compact unit with smaller internal diameter magnets than existing Wide Bore HFXY probes. Ideal for complex solid state NMR applications, the Narrow Bore HXFY probe enables a wider range of experiments without swapping probes.
New Ultra-High-Field spectrometers at 850 MHz and 1GHz
The Gigahertz project will leverage Agilent’s full capabilities in magnet and probe design, electronic measurement and systems integration, to deliver world class performance for researchers working to understand the structure and dynamics of macromolecules.
Collaboration with Bridge12 Technologies to further expand applications for solid state NMR
As part of its commitment to expand NMR applications, Agilent has also entered into a co-marketing agreement with Bridge12 Technologies. This early stage company is a provider of critical components for an emerging application known as Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP) that holds the promise of significantly improving measurement sensitivity for solid state samples.
A New Center of Excellence at the Santa Clara Campus, California
A fully-equipped Application Laboratory has been built on the main Santa Clara site, specifically for NMR, MRI, and XRD. The new facility will have fully-enabled demo systems for 800MHz, 700MHz, 2x 600MHz, and 2x 500MHz DD2 spectrometers, a 400MR DD2 spectrometer, an 11.7T/160mm DD2 MRI system, and two X-ray Diffraction Spectrometers.
